What watch does Zendaya wear?
The Cartier Panthère, which she wears alongside Bella Hadid, Dua Lipa and Nicola Peltz-Beckham. At the 2026 Oscars she wore a diamond Rolex instead — the Panthère is the everyday one.
The Panthère is the answer, and the reason it keeps appearing on the same small group of people is a design decision rather than a fashion one.
What makes it different. Its bracelet is built from small, flat, closely set links with a lot of play between them, so the whole band is genuinely floppy. It drapes over the wrist bone rather than bridging it, and it is designed to be worn slightly loose so it slides an inch or two as you move. Anything that moves on the wrist is read by the eye as ornament rather than as equipment — which is why it looks like jewelry and a sports watch does not.
The copyable part. You do not need that watch to get that effect. Look for a bracelet of small, flat links rather than chunky ones, and pick it up before you buy: if the band holds its shape when you let it hang, it will read as a tool; if it pours, it will read as jewelry.
On case size. A smaller case reads dressier, because it is closer in scale to a bangle than to an instrument. On a slim wrist, much above 38mm will overhang awkwardly however well the bracelet is adjusted.
